Snow days!!

Billy decided that this year the girls were going to see snow no matter what! So we scheduled to take the girls up to Flagstaff
yesterday. We had a blast! Billy checked the computer for the weather report and road conditions just before we left. The
weather report said"5% chance of snow and roads were clear". So
we are getting to just before Munds Park and it is snowing like
crazy! We could barely see 100 yards in front of us. Billy was loving it so much! So we decide that when we get to Flagstaff we are buying chains just in case because the snow was not letting up at all! We were in Walmart buying chains, we were in there maybe 20 minutes or so and we came out to the car COVERED in tons of snow! Kylee loved it, she was giggling at the snow hitting her face. She is mad in the picture here because she thought Daddy was putting her back in the car. Kylee was so mad when we told her we were going home. Billy and I were laughing so hard. Then Mattison didn't want to
get out of the car. She was so tired by the time we got to Flagstaff
she said she just wanted to go home now and eat toast. Billy and I
laughed and said we drove all this way let's go have some fun. So
I finally convinced Mattie to get out of the car, after that we had a hard time getting her back in the car. Mattie loved it when daddy
would throw snow balls. So my camera was dying so I don't have
pictures of the girls in the snow but Billy is planning to go again in
2 weeks or so, so then I will charge my camera and take pics of the girls IN the snow. Then as we were driving home we had to drive very slow for a big chunk of time because of how hard it was snowing. I just prayed the girls would sleep because they could hardly stand the drive up there so I knew they would be even more restless coming home since we had to drive so slow. So here is the ride home......

I would say "Successful Snow day for the Chase family!!" Mommy
loved the quiet ride home after all the excitement and never
ending question of "Are we there yet?" or "Is it time to get out
now?". I love my little family so much! I also loved seeing my
husband's face light up so bright when he was in the snow! Snow
really makes Billy SO happy! He is like a kid at Disneyland when
it comes to snow. So more snow days in the future for this
wonderful family of mine. Merry Christmas everyone!! We love you!!

I love to see the Temple!!

Yes I love to see the temple at Christmas time when all lights are put up for celebration. One of the many ways we show our celebration for the birth of our Savior Jesus Christ, the light and life of the world. The Savior has truly been the light to my life. Especially recently, as he has calmed my troubled heart and is healing the loss of a pregnancy. As the primary song goes, "I love to see the temple, I'm going there some day!" One of those blessed days was yesterday. Really quickly I know this is the Salt Lake City temple I just love this picture of all the trees light up. First and for most a HUGE shout out to my most amazing mother! She cared for my 2 very active girls for about 6 hours :) (if you would like to hear the great details of this event go to her blog, it is labeled 'Mommy Dearest' on the right side of my blog). Anyways none of this wonderful temple experience that I had would have been possible if it would not have been for my mom caring for my girls. So thanks again, and thanks for the upcoming Friday. :) So anyways I was blessed to attend the temple with my eternal companion and best friend, Billy. I realized how much I missed going to the temple. I felt rejuvenated and more at peace than ever before. Billy and I both felt that we were strengthened by our time in the house of the Lord. I felt I received answers to my prayers while I was in the temple. I attended the temple so that I could assist a great friend through her first time going through the temple. Ashley Miller is a great blessing to my life and the life of my family. She watches my girls whenever I need and they love her so much! She has shared so many powerful spiritual moments with me and my husband. I was one of her young women's leaders in church when she was investigating whether or not she wanted to join. She made the amazing choice to join the church and is doing all she can to continue her progression. She has met and amazing man who she is marrying in the temple for time and all eternity. They are marrying this Friday and I am so excited for her and Spencer. I have actually know Spencer since he was a young boy and I am so grateful that he and Ashley have found such happiness with each other. Thank you Ashley for having me there with you for this VERY special time. I love you so much and am very proud of and the righteous choices you are making each day. I am so grateful for this Christmas season to celebrate the birth of the Savior. He means so much to me, there are no words to describe the love I have for him. I am humbled by his birth and his life. I pray all of you have a wonder Christmas season and always remember the true reason of Christmas is to honor him, our elder brother, Jesus Christ. May you all be blessed with health and strength and happiness! I love you all so much for all you teach me, and do for me and my family. Merry Christmas!!

Silver linings!

You know that moment when you look up at the clouds and and the sun is trying to peek through? Where only rays of the sun are visible and the cloud is outlined in a beautiful silver color. I saw that yesterday and it reached all the way to the deepest part of my soul. This post is for my own healing not for sympathy or condolences. I found out last week that I was for sure pregnant. We were very excited to be adding to our little family. Billy and I both felt it was what was suppose to be. Then yesterday morning I lost the baby. I had started spotting but was praying the spotting would end quickly. I was very sad to lose this little life inside of me. I am so grateful though for silver linings. Some may wonder what the silver lining was here well I will tell you. For me the silver lining was, He has blessed me with 2 beautiful little girls and I had enough faith to follow the promptings of the spirit that told us it was time to add to our family. No we may not hold this little one in our arms right now but I know that Heavenly Father is caring for this precious spirit until He is ready for me to take care of he or she. I am so grateful He blessed me with sight to see the silver lining of the cloud yesterday. Not just physically but spiritually. I really felt like God was sending me a message in that special moment, "Brianne, I am with you and I love you! You will be blessed for this experience. I need you to be strong and rely on your elder brother Jesus Christ right now. Please don't try to do this alone, I will do all I can to show you the 'silver linings' in all you do each day." As I sit here I am crying. The reason I say this is because as I typed what I felt MY Heavenly Father was saying to me in that moment yesterday I felt the spirit confirm the truth of it. I am SO eternally grateful for my loving Heavenly Father and for my elder brother and Savior, Jesus Christ. I know there will be days where I am strong and days where I may falter a little, days when I smile and laugh and a few days when I cry but that is okay as long as I give it all over to my brother. I look forward to the day when my loving Heavenly Father will bless me with more precious spirits but for now I still have so much more to do with the two sweet spirits I have now. I also want to thank my Father in Heaven for the loving and supportive husband that I have. He has been such a strength to me. He has been so strong and taken such good care of me and my girls. He holds me when I need holding, makes me food when I need to eat and loves me ALL the time (even when I feel I don't deserve it sometimes). I love you Billy!

The Adventures of Thanksgiving Day!!

So last night I was up until 11pm peeling and cutting up apples for 4 pies! They are soooo good! These are pies made from scratch so it takes a little more work but they taste so good you do it anyway. So anyways I started at 8pm and finished at 11pm. Finally got to bed at about 11:30pm. Kylee woke up at 12:30am, ate a bottle and went back to sleep by 12:45ish. Then I had a hard time going back to sleep even though I was exhausted. I finally fell back to sleep at around 1:30am. Then Billy got home at 3:30am and talked to me for a minute and we caught up on each others day. He went to sleep by 4am and I once again had a hard time going back to sleep. I fell asleep by 4:30ish. Then in walks Mattie at 7am bright eyed and bushy tailed. Me not so much. I then decide okay I will just get up and go to the 5k Turkey Trot that Tara and some of her friends put together. Of course I had to take both my girls with me because I would NEVER make Billy miss playing football on Thanksgiving Day. Little note I am not being sarcastic, I am dead serious. That would pretty much be the worse thing you could do to Billy, for reals! Anyways So I got Mattie all dressed and ready and then WOKE Kylee up so I could go. Me and the girls had fun walking with Celena (sorry if I spelled it wrong). Celena is a rock star she actually pushed the stroller most of the way. It was perfect weather! Then after finishing the walk (which we started at about 8:30am) I hurried home to shower me and both my girls by myself because daddy was still playing football. So as I am getting out of the shower with girls Billy came home. I was thinking "Yahoo, he's home". He comes in to tell me he is heading over to the emergency room because he broke his nose playing this game he loves so much! Now I am thinking "Oh crap, he's going to the E.R.". So he hurries over there and I finish getting the girls ready for our Thanksgiving meal that is planned out in Mesa with Erin and Steve at Steve's parents. Then I peeled and cut up a bag of potatoes for Billy to take mashed potatoes to work. We were suppose to leave at 10:30am. Do you think that happened?? ha, ha The answer is NO! So I pack up all my luggage for me and the girls to head out to Mesa, WITHOUT Billy. He was going to meet us there. Anyways, Billy fractured his nose and luckily they said he didn't need to have it set but it still cost us $100 bucks. Oh well I am just very glad he is okay. So we were suppose to eat at 12pm but ate at 1pm instead. Billy finally got there after we had all finished eating and had EVERYTHING cleaned up and put away. We enjoyed our time together and then kissed goodbye after 2 hours when Billy headed off to work. Love you honey! Have a great day at work and I hope you don't hurt to much. By the way dinner was good but I really missed having mashed potatoes. Mashed potatoes is no joke my favorite part of Thanksgiving. I eat tons of mashed potatoes with my mom's homemade rolls and yummy pumpkin pie. So after my ranting of my Thanksgiving day I just wanted to wish all of you a very Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Birthday Mattison!!

Happy Birthday Mattison!! My baby girl turned 4 years old on the 17th of November. Sorry it has taken so long to get pics up! We had so much fun with our big girl. Billy and I took her on a birthday date. She was so excited to have mommy and daddy all to herself. We went to "Uncle Donald's" which translates into McDonalds for a happy meal. Mattie calls it uncle Donald's because she watches Hughey, Dewey and Lewey :). Anyways the happy meal was a Madagascar toy which fit perfectly because that is where we were headed, the movie theater to watch Madagascar 2. We all liked the movie and we had a lot of fun. I want to say thanks to my mom for watching Kylee for us so we could have some one on one time with Mattie Moo!! I love my baby girl so much that I can hardly stand it :) These are all great pics of Mattie opening her birthday gifts from mommy, daddy and sister. We love you big girl!!
P.S.
Lots of great posts to come since I haven't been able to post for a few days. Stay tuned for some laughter!hee, hee :)

Kylee is 1!!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY KYLEE!!

Since my parents and Billy's parents are out of town (Billy's permanently, mine until Sunday night :) ) I took some video of Kylee opening her presents. She was so cute opening her presents. I hope you enjoy as much as I did! I can't believe she is 1 year old.

Here are a few pictures of Kyky with her presents. I she loves Mickey Mouse so much. If she sees him on tv she gets so excited and does the face with her raised eyebrows. I love that face so much!
Here is one more video to enjoy! Happy birthday baby girl!! Mommy and daddy love you so much and we are so glad you have come to our family:) !!

Fashion Week with Mattison!

Continuing fashion week with Mattison :) I am actually very proud to say Billy dressed her today!! He is one great daddy. I came out of my bedroom and Mattie was all dressed and ready for school, hair done and all. Her lunch was packed and she was kissing me goodbye! I have one amazing husband. When I picked Mattie up from school today Ms. Marcy said all the girls are in love with her boots! I was laughing so hard. I am so scared because we haven't told Mattie yet that starting in January she is only going to preschool one day a week instead of 3 days like she is now. It is just to much for us to pay with the way things are. It makes me very sad though because school has been great for her. I will still keep doing school work with her at home but she won't get as much of the classroom experience which she loves. I know it is all going to be fine, but as her mommy I obviously want to give her what she wants and what will help her to grow and learn. I am sure I will put off telling her until the end of December. Is that a bad idea??

Back to Preschool!!

Mattison was soooooooooo happy she could go to preschool today with Ms. Marcy. She normally goes to school Tuesday through Thursday but because of Veteran's Day she had to wait until Wednesday to go to school. It is only one day difference but to my to my little 3 year old (almost 4, on Monday-ahhhhhh) it might as well have been a week! So when on got her bathed and dressed for school and had her hair done she was liking running out the door. So she loved her little boots she got to wear today. Billy said he didn't know how he felt about them because they look like boots that belong on a girl that stands on the street :)! I was laughing so hard when he said that. I then proceeded to tell him that for a 3 year old it is okay because her fellow preschool classmates wouldn't know that. ha, ha I still can't stop laughing. I thinks adorable and her preschool teachers first comment when Mattie got out of the car was "Oh my gosh you look so cute. Now my girls are going to want boots just like yours. Thanks a lot Brianne". I just looked at Billy and laughed then I said to him "Told you so!" Anyways, welcome back to school Mattie Moo!! Mommy and daddy love you!

Hard Day, Time to Relax!!

Billy and I loved this picture and couldn't stop laughing. Kylee is so relaxed eating her bottle. She stayed that way the whole time. I love seeing my girls just being themselves.
I love this picture of Kylee because you can see her adorable rolls :). She is starting to show a more feisty side, for real!! She is just looking at Billy and I like what?? Also why are taking a picture of this?? So I plan on doing a nice big post about Mattison since the past 2 posts were more about Klyee :) I sure love my little family and can't wait until they have a brother to boss around. No Tara that was not an announcement!!!

The life of an 11 month old

My name is Kylee and I turn 1 in 8 days! This is a glimpse of my day for you, for warning it is rough to watch :). First I find any excuse to take my clothes off. Next we get dressed in costumes and visit daddy at work. (Yes this is a typical day for me ha, ha).

Then I play with my life sized teletubbie! Isn't she so cute :)!! I just love those big ears and that giant thing stick up out of her head.

Here is me with all my peeps. We all got dressed up on the same day what a coincidence!
Then I climb in the cabinets, which is one of my favorite things to do. It always seem to me though that if I do this cabinet thing for to long my mom lays me down for a nap. Oh no here she come. Goodnight!
Okay so that nap actually felt good. Don't you love my crazy hair. My mom's personal night time hair dresser "Rolf" does my hair now too and he even does mine during nap time. I'm so lucky :)
Now it is time to make a mess with my sister. I think you could say mission accomplished. My mom usually has sister's clothes all very nicely organized on each shelf. I just wanted to make sure she had something to do the next day to keep her busy. I don't want her to get bored :)
I being almost 1 it is great. It is hard sometimes but somebody has to do it!!

We will miss you Joe!

Today was the funeral services for our family friend Joe Charnoki. Joe will be greatly missed by all who knew him. There were many people who attended the services today. I think he was smiling down on all of his loved ones today. My heart especially goes out to Cindy (his wife), Daniel, Amy and Justin his children and all his other family and friends. I am grateful to know that right now he is being taught the gospel, most likely by my Grandpa Weathersby. After the services family and friends went to my parents house and had a luncheon. We also had an empty saddle ceremony. Daniel lead Joe's horse around in a circle while a cowboy sang a couple cowboy songs Joe liked. While this cowboy played his guitar my dad read a poem about a fallen cowboy and how he will be missed. I was very touched. In fact I was more moved by the empty saddle ceremony than by the catholic services. I don't mean that disrespectfully. They did this same ceremony at my grandpa's funeral. I was unable to be at my grandpa's funeral because I was serving a mission in Oregon. So the ceremony meant even more to me. I was so emotional during the ceremony but it was a positive feeling because I know Joe was there. Thank you Joe for being you and I love you!

Obama=Last Days!!!

It is official Obama won the Presidential elections! I was so ticked off last night I could hardly breath. Billy finally told me I had to go to bed because I was being grumpy. I didn't argue that because I knew it was true. Something I don't understand about the elections.....why do I vote?? If there is such thing as electoral votes then why do the people of this great country vote? Anyway sorry I am being such a bummer but I am really upset that Obama won. It is just a sure sign of the times. I agree with my mother 100%, 2 words now that Obama was elected...Food Storage! So anyway I guess I obviously can't change what has been done but I will keep praying for this beautiful country and follow the direction of the true leader of this great land and all the world.....President Thomas S. Monson, prophet, seer and revelator of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. God bless America. I may start to have to follow the lead of Julianne and write something I am grateful for everyday this month (or the next four years) to stay positive :)

I Voted Today!!

I want to let all of you know.......I VOTED TODAY!! Not only did I vote I voted for McCain! I am proud to be a female American who made it a point of my day to vote for the next President of the United States of America. I have discussed politics with a lot of people. One of the things that stuck out to me was a friend of my dad's said that she was alive when Hitler was alive. She heard him speak on the radio and she said that a lot of what she heard from him is being said by Barrack Obama. Obama doesn't salute the flag, say the pledge or even have a flag on any of his campaign items. I am proud to say that I salute the flag, say the pledge and put a flag wherever I can. I pray with my children and my husband everyday to a God who has called this a land of promise. I believe that this is a promised land and we should treat it with the respect it deserves. I feel all of the things that we do as Americans to show our fore fathers that we appreciate them and their sacrifices they made for this free land we live in were not in vain. This must be done by ALL who abide in this free land. It is NOT about religion it is about the freedom of this great country we live in. I especially believe that the leader of this proud country should be leading us in honoring our country by putting his hand to our heart as he pledges to our symbolic flag and says the pledge of allegiance. I also believe our leader of this beautiful promised land should want to display the American flag proudly where ever he travels. He will be responsible for traveling to other countries and lands to discuss very important matters on behalf of the American people. I AM AN AMERICAN, I want a president who values what I say and will never try to take my voice away from me. I want my children to be taught that it is okay to pray in school if they want, that they can stand proudly and say the pledge of allegiance to the most beautiful flag in the world. I am not ashamed of who I voted for today and I pray that you can say the same about your vote today. GOD BLESS AMERICA!!

Monday

So every weekend I do all my laundry. I do it all on Saturday to save money on my electric bill. So had it all done and this is what my laundry basket looked like by Monday! How could we go through so many clothes in 1 day??? The answer my husband! He must have cleaned up his side of the bedroom Sunday night when he got home from work. I am grateful he picked up but I wish he would have done it on Friday night instead :). Oh well I am just happy to have such a great little family, even if we go through so many clothes in 1 day!

NIGHT AT THE PARK WITH ALL 3 KIDS!

On Monday I had to work at my dad's office and I got home from work and just wanted to have fun with my little family. So I told Billy we should go the park for a little while. Mattie had her shoes on in like 3 seconds flat! We had so much fun just playing on the slides and the swings with the girls. Mommy and Mattie went on the swings and I was teaching Mattie how to pump her legs so she could swing herself. She thought that was pretty fun. Kylee like going down the slides with daddy! Then Mattie & Kylee bounced on the green dino thing! That is when Kylee is doing the great face. I love having such a fun time with my husband and 2 beautiful girls! Kylee LOVED the swing!

KYLEE LEARNS NEW THINGS!

So Kylee has a few things she really likes to do around my house. One playing in my cupboards and making lots of noise with whatever is in there. She also likes to slam the doors closed because it is LOUD! ha, ha! Also she like to try out her new trick........WALKING!!! She thinks it is great she can walk around, so do I. Sometimes it is hard that she can walk but all in all I love to watch her try out her new fun thing. She is getting big way to fast!!!

Sir Lance A Lot :)

So today we were at Costco getting a few groceries and Mattison was standing with me the whole time while Billy had Kylee in the cart. So at one point we realized we had forgotten something. We had already passed that isle so I told Billy that Mattie and I would be right back. Mattie and I went to the isle we needed and as we were walking down the isle I hear Mattie say quite loudly "She has a BIG butt mommy!!!" I am mortified and to make matters worse the lady and her mother looked right at me. I didn't know what to do I was frozen. I just smiled and said hi like maybe she didn't really hear. (yeah right, huh?) Then I grabbed Mattie's hand and booked it down the isle and out of sight. I was in so much shock. She wasn't saying it in a mean way she was saying it like a statement. Apparently it is beginning, you know where you are afraid to take your kids anywhere wondering what they will say next. My guess is I am getting payback for all the times I did this sort of thing to my parents. Once again I am apologizing to my mom and my dad. Got to love the 3 year old :)

Binkie where are you???

Kylee is our binkie girl. She was sucking on her binkie this morning and then she lost it somewhere in her travels around the house. So I go looking in all the normal places and it is no where to be found. So I tried to retrace ALL her steps (or crawls :) ). She went to Mattie's room, nope. She went to her room, nope. She crawled into the kitchen, nope. By the way the reason I know all the places she went and the order she did them in is because she was following me everywhere I went. Then I remembered I had to go to the bathroom and of course she followed me right in. As a mommy there are no personal places anymore, ha, ha! So anyways I went in the bathroom and nope no binky. Except she was playing with the shower curtain. So I go open the shower curtain and yep she had put her binky in the tub. So now I have a new place to look for a missing binky. She is so blasted cute even if she does follow me into the bathroom. I remember when I was younger and my mom would say just let me go to the bathroom by myself or I'll be out in a minute. Erin (the baby of course) would even stick her fingers under the bathroom door when my mom was in there thinking that maybe that would speed my mom up. I actually think it had the opposite affect. So I would like to say sorry mom for all those bathroom interruptions. As a mommy it seems like everyone all of the sudden needs you or needs to tell you something as soon as you close the bathroom door. ha, ha. I remember on my mission going to the bathroom and showering was the only time I was by myself, no joke. I remember towards the end of my mission one morning I was going to the bathroom and I thought I can't wait to get home and be able to have a life where I can be alone for more than 10 minutes. That only lasted for 6 months after being home because I was married after that and then had children. So the rest is history. Private time??? What is private time??? ha, ha

Sister moments, priceless!

The other day Kylee started to get hungry and Mattie said she wanted to feed her. I said "ok". I went and prepared the bottle and then laid Kylee in Mattie's lap and the memories began. Mattie loves her sister very much and is very protective of her. So Mattie feeding Kylee was going well then it progresses into an even more precious moment.

I just love the way Mattie loves to care for her little sister. I hope and pray that their relationship stays close and more wonderful memories are created in years to come. Mommy loves you girls!!

Party of the year!

Happy Birthday everyone with October birthdays!

Party!! For any of you who weren't able to attend the party of the

year, here are some great pics. Tausha & I were so happy to be able to be at a weekend function with our spouses. So I have documentation that Tausha & I were NOT solo at this fun shindig!

I also have to put a shout out to my new little babe...Brendal (sorry if it is spelled wrong, I tried :) ). She was attached to my hip and I loved it! She wouldn't even go to the bathroom without me :)
There were so many more pictures but you get the idea. We all had a great time with lots of yummy food. Thanks mom for being such a great host! You are such a party girl! Who is doing the next big bash???
