Mattison's fun toy

So for anyone who doesn't know Mattie LOVES her brother Brayden SO very much! She thinks he is hers. As soon as she wakes up she checks on Brayden and he is the 1st one to get a kiss goodbye when she heads off to school. He is the 1st one she greets when she returns home from school. She loves to hold him! In fact yesterday Mattie and her daddy were disagreeing on who was going to hold Brayden 1st after I was done feeding him. So this is a picture of how Mattie put her brother to sleep. This little guy LOVES to snuggle.

After she had him to sleep she needed to get up and doing something so she, as she called it, made him a pillow crib. :) So cute!

Then she decided he needed a blanket so she decided to use her sweater as his blanket. It is just so cute to watch her play mommy to her baby brother.

P.S.
As I was typing this post Mattie was holding Brayden and playing with him. I stood up to check on him and caught Mattie giving Brayden some of her apple juice. She thought she was doing such a great thing sharing. As you can tell we are still working on teaching Mattie what she can and can not do with Brayden. :)

She is a good big sister, not just to Brayden, but to Kylee also. You are lucky because when she gets a little older you will have the best babysitter ever... that's if she can fit you in! She may have so many babysitting jobs you will be last on the list... because you don't PAY!! Ha ha!

I think one of the true joys of motherhood is witnessing love like this between siblings...a fraction of a glimpse into Godly love and why our Father in Heaven must be filled with joy when we demonstrate that kind of love to one another.

My kids don't get it! hee hee
