So for the next few days I would like to post a question a day and hear your answers. I know they might sound silly but it would really mean a lot to me. So here I go with question #1
Question #1
What does "keeping the Sabbath day holy" mean to you?
(Like what do you do on the Sabbath, what is meaningful activity for you on the Sabbath?)

I think taking a few minutes to write in my journal about what has happened that week is a great thing to do. (I don't always remember to do it... but am trying to get better at it)
I just like to take a day to spend time with my husband and little girl. I just feel that we live in such a busy, crazy world that we need one day to relax and be together. We usually will talk, read together, play a game, anything that brings you closer together and doesn't have a schedule.
We spend time w/the fam! Family dinners, play games, talk, cook/bake, eat, eat some more, enjoy each others company. Sometimes we will YouTube church videos. I agree w/Jessie- anything that brings the fam closer together and closer to the Lord.
I try to conscientiously think about the things that I am doing that day. Are they things that I do everyday of the week? I think that the Sabbath is a day where we should do things that we don't do the rest of the week. I try to devote it to the Lord and His work. I try to keep the TV off, don't clean house (not as though I do that all week, though... but I SHOULD!), shop at the stores or restaurants, I try not to make other people have to work on the Sabbath either. I devote EXTRA time to the Lord. Families are important and I try to devote more time on the Sabbath to my family... like you ;D. I sure do love you.
We aren't the super best at this during the summer, but I like playing family games together, listening to good church music, maybe going on a walk as a family??
