100th Post

So this is my 100th post!! Yay!! So here is catch up for the past few weeks of some pics I have taken of the girls.

I love whoever created blogging. It makes it so nice to stay in touch with family in friends and keep each other updated on our lives and also great journal keeping for the future. :) Hope you all enjoyed my 100th post!! Thanks for reading and also thanks for the comments (hint, hint)!!

I'm back!!

So a lot has happened in the last few weeks. To much to keep up with but I will try to recap in an abbreviated way! I had been feeling pretty sick a few weeks ago with the pregnancy so I didn't have the strength to blog. Then I had to pack me and my family for a 5 day trip to Utah to surprise my mother-in-law for her birthday. We had been planning this surprise with Billy's sister for a few months and it all worked out great! I'll pics later. While in Utah I got a bad flu bug and Billy had to take me to the ER. What a vacation! Then as we were driving home we got to Las Vegas and Kylee threw up in her car seat. Then after being home for 2 hours Billy started throwing up. That is a Utah trip for us. Every time we come home from Utah we end up sick. It is a good thing we love our family up there :). So now we are home and getting back into our routine. Kylee is learning at least 1 new word a day. I love to see all the things she is learning right now at this age. I am also working a little bit more at my dad's office until the baby is born in October. I work Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday mornings. For anyone who knows me they know I am not a huge fan of getting up early but things could be worse. So needless to say I am staying busy and loving being a mommy. Oh and some of the most exciting news in our house is..........WE ARE HAVING A BOY!!!! That is right Billy is getting his little football player! We are so excited! That is all for now, more to come.

Little Mommy!

2 days ago I laid Kylee down for a nap and told my wonderful husband to do the same since he had to work that night. Mattie and I went to the front room together to watch a movie together. I sat in my recliner and accidentally fell asleep. I woke up when I heard Kylee making a little noise in the baby monitor but then the talking stopped so I fell back asleep. My next awareness is hearing the velcro on Kylee's diaper. I open my eyes to see Mattie CHANGING Kylee's diaper. That is right my 4 year old got my 16 month old out of her crib and changed her out of her pj's and had clothes to change her into for the day. She then was changing her diaper! Mattie at this point saw that my eyes were open (quite largely I might add) and she says very calmly "Go back to sleep Mommy I got this." I was so shocked!! I was about ready to cry to see how responsible my 4 year old was being. She knew Mommy was tired and she wanted to help out. That day I actually felt like I might actually be doing something right as a Mommy! :) I am so blessed to have such great children and an amazing husband!! I am especially thankful for Mattie and knowing what a big helper she is with her little sister. I am going to need it for the next few months and especially after the end of October because then we are going to have 1 more child to add to the family!! That is right I am PREGNANT!!! We have seen the baby in an ultrasound and heard the very strong heartbeat. I have been nice and nauseated which is a great sign. It is the one time in my life when I am grateful to feel like I am going to be sick because it means my baby is doing good! So if my posts are more spread out that is why. Have a great day!!!

Crazy mom brain!!!

So it seems like the days you really don't feel good your kids are ALL over the place! Kylee is already my mischievous one and causes trouble most the day but TODAY!! Ugh! She has been on fire with all kinds of trouble. So I had my mom watch my girls for a little bit while I ran an errand and when I came to pick them up it was anything but pleasant. I was trying to put Kylee in her car seat and she was stiff as a board! She was not going to bend to sit in her chair. So am literally pushing her hips into the seat long enough to get the buckle locked in. As I am doing this I hit my head so hard on the side of the car. I had a lovely red mark on my forehead. Also just a reminder that I already wasn't feeling good anyway so now I am so exhausted! Billy is gone for work so I am wrestling both my girls to get them to eat and get them ready for bed. Then I turn around to get something for Kylee and I hear something be poured all over my recliner! That is right a huge bag of stick pretzels all over in my chair. Here is my immediate thought "Is it bedtime yet?" I am about to cry from not feeling well, being exhausted and wrestling with my girls all day! The pretzels was just the frosting on the cake. So on that note I am going to bed and praying really hard that tomorrow is a little bit easier. :) Also I just want to put out there I LOVE MY GIRLS TO PIECES!!

Spa-rty!!!! Come one come all!!!

So last night I went to a girls night out with my mom and my sister Erin and a handful of my awesome friends!! I decided that I wanted to have as many people as possible at my next girls night out at the spa! I am going to to a spa-rty on Friday March 27th!! I want to let everyone have a great time. You get a manicure w/ a paraffin wax dipping, a pedicure and polish toes, 10 min massage (VERY GOOD) and all the yummy treats like chocolate strawberries to eat!! Here is one of the best parts ALL of that for only $20 dollars! Ladies it is divine!!! Send me a comment if your interested and I will put on the list!!
