NEED A GOOD HELPER??????????

Here is Kylee "helping" daddy do the dishes. I think she might

actually think she is helping. I don't know that I would consider pulling everything out and daddy put's it in "help". hee, hee. Althogh I do love the sexy dishwasher in the blue shirt. How can your husband doing the dishes for you not be sexy! He is so helpful around the house and I really appreciate it especially while I have been filling in at my dad's office for the past few weeks. I only have this week left. I have had fun working but I miss being home with my baby girls!! Thanks again for doing the dishes my little helpers :)

Monkey makes a mess!!

You'll notice how Kylee is sitting in a pile of flowers. She is just sitting there playing then see's me and tries to escape then she looks up at me and smiles so big like remember I'm soooooooooooo cute! :) I was laughing so hard there was no way I could get mad with how cute she looked. The funny thing is she knew she wasn't suppose to do it and how she tries to escape like maybe mommy won't know who did this. ha, ha She is so blasted cute!!

Dearest Daddy!!!!!!

My dad is better than your dad!!! My dad is the most awsome roping, riding, shooting, sports watching guy you'll ever meet. He has taught me so much about life and how to live it right. He is a great example to me and so many others. It seems like EVERYBODY knows my dad. No matter where we go if it's Costco or if it is on family vacation to the Bahamas he knows someone. He is the singles branch President and the singles love him. I hear them talk about how much they love him all the time. He invites some of them to share family dinner with us on Sunday and we have a lot of fun getting to know those he serves. Dad you really do rock and I appreciate how much you and mom have done for me and my family. I love you sooooooooooo much!!!

Girls Rock!!

This is last December with all of the girls. My mom and my sisters mean the world to me (and my dad and my little family, but this is about the girls today :) )My mom has been my best friend for as long as I can remember. I am so grateful to have the world's best mom. My sisters are all amazing. They each have taught me something throughout my life. Lots of things to be exact. I just hope they know how grateful I am to have them in my life and to have so many great friends. I could go to my sisters for anything and they would be there for me. Thanks girls for being the best mom and sisters a girl could ever ask for. Love you all very much!!!!

Celebrating Mattie's 1st day of school

After we picked Mattie up from her 1st day of preschool we decided to take her to get ice cream to celebrate. Do you think she enjoyed her chocolate ice cream????? ha, ha! She is just to cute especially with all the ice cream all over her face. I love you Mattie Moo!!

Mattie's 1st day of School

Yesterday was Mattison's 1st day of preschool!! Wahoo!!! This is a picture with Mattie & Mommy, Mattie with Daddy and Ky Ky and also with her preschool teacher Ms. Marcy. When we were dropping her off she was like "See you later mom and dad" running for the playground. She didn't care at all we were leaving her. Ms. Marcy told me when we picked her up "She did a great job and is very smart". I laughed and said (in my head- I know she is a smart girl like her mother :) ). We are very proud of her and how great she is already doing with school.

Inspired by Nie

I have been reading my second cousins blog. I have mentioned her and her husband who were in the plane crash. Her husband Christian is actually the one who is my cousin. Anyway I have been reading her blog regularly (all previous posts since she is still in recovery at the hospital). Today I read something on her blog that inspired me and I wanted to share it with all of you. I hope you can take something from this quote the way I have. I think it has even more special meaning coming from her and her circumstances right now.
"Author Anna Quindlen reminds us not to rush past the fleeting moments.{or if I could enter here-the basket-head mother syndrome} She said: “The biggest mistake I made [as a parent] is the one that most of us make. . . . I did not live in the moment enough. This is particularly clear now that the moment is gone, captured only in photographs. There is one picture of [my three children] sitting in the grass on a quilt in the shadow of the swing set on a summer day, ages six, four, and one. And I wish I could remember what we ate, and what we talked about, and how they sounded, and how they looked when they slept that night. I wish I had not been in such a hurry to get on to the next thing: dinner, bath, book, bed. I wish I had treasured the doing a little more and the getting it done a little less”(Loud and Clear [2004], 10–11).

My hope is to live eachday for what it is a gift from my Heavenly Father. I love my family and don't want to take any moments with them for granted. Thank you Nie for your inspiration and example.
